Conventional low volume assembly is undertaken using Mascot light-guided placement machines, which use eye-safe lasers to indicate the position and orientation of the component to be placed. Automated component selection ensures efficient production of even small volume assembly runs.
|
Higher volume requirements are
catered for using automated placement carried out on 80-station Universal Axial
Combi machines capable of up to 15,000 placements per hour. Cleveland Circuits also provides an in-house surface mount assembly service using high-speed Juki automated placement machines capable of placing 4,000 components per hour, including BGA, TSOP and QFP devices.
